Our Team
Lauren has been an executive assistant, bookkeeper, office manager and finance/accounts manager for over 20 years.. Her ability to turn chaos into clarity, with a smile that would calm an angry storm, is what keeps her client list growing!
“Once you have a Lauren, you can’t imagine life without her”, is how one client described the experience of working with Bayside Admin.
Our team has grown in the last couple of years, and we have between 1-3 people assisting with all the amazing clients we have, ready for busier periods such as Business Activity Statements (BAS), End of Financial Year (EOFY), and of course the normal weekly and monthly payroll and accounts.
Helping people run their office and their business smoothly, so they can also experience better work/life balance, gives us so much job satisfaction, we love nothing more than helping people get organised and get on with what they do best.
Our more recent growth came around after we had been working with an NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) service provider. Shortly afterwards, we made the decision to offer NDIS Plan Management, and undertook all the required training. This means we can help people who have NDIS funding, by making sure all your invoices are paid correctly, and to help you keep track of your budget and spending.
Through this, we also began to get more enquiries from NDIS service providers, as the scheme can feel complex to navigate. Being able to offer our knowledge and experience to help in this area is very fulfilling, and makes us want to jump out of bed on a Monday morning (ok, maybe not every Monday 😉)
Bayside Admin believes strongly in continuous improvement, ensuring personal and professional development is integrated into our schedules. We keep up to date with relevant legislation, and enhancing our skills, ensuring valued clients always receive the best possible service.
The team look forward to seeing how we can help!
Our Bayside Admin offices are located in the Sage Room Co-op where Lauren Micale is one of the directors.
The Sage Room Co-op is a collective of small businesses working together, as highly independent and interdependent businesses, to grow each and all of our businesses, whilst expanding our impact.
We want to showcase how small businesses can work effectively together through collaboration rather than competition, to achieve growth and impact beyond what would be possible as individuals whilst also maintaining the flexibility of independence.
We create spaces, services and products that stimulate work-life integration – supporting well-being over small-business burn out. We challenge traditional ways of thinking around how we should work – to live life sustainably, ethically and consciously whilst holding commitment to quality and outstanding results.
We choose to base ourselves within our local area and both individually and collectively contribute to the broader community through using local businesses first and actively engaging with local community organisations.
We foster a mindset of creativity, integrity and spacious choice through leveraging strengths of different individuals. Together we have grown our businesses, ourselves and our community; the Sage Room aims to share this experience and expertise to support you and your business to grow, towards the life you choose.
Our co-founders at MGLA had a clear vision: to revolutionise how we perceive quality and compliance. They were tired of companies who claimed to be compliant but were clueless about what it actually meant. So, they decided to make a difference.
Can compliance really save lives? Well, it might not rescue you from a burning building, but it does provide safety and security for you, your staff and your customers.
We live in a world where rules and regulations govern our actions, and compliance is our guide to staying on the right side of those guidelines. Plus, it's different for every company, so it's essential to navigate this territory wisely. Working within guidelines gives you a clear direction. And let me tell you, compliance and governance have a massive impact on safety, security, and responsibility in the industries where MGLA operates.
The co-directors at MGLA are truly passionate about creating a Compliance & Quality culture within organisations. They want to address the tough issues head-on, leaving no room for hiding until audit time or a haphazard approach to service delivery just because it's convenient.
Compliance can actually be easy if you know how to navigate it.
So, let's dive in and discover how compliance can be a breeze!
